Four Level Chocolate Box

January 19, 2011

Hello and happy Wednesday! You know how much I love Wednesdays… and I am really looking forward to this weekend. I have a lot of fun stamping projects to finish up. It’s so frustrating to have all these ideas in my head with little to no time to make them come to life. Well I’m planning on making that happen this weekend! Can’t wait to share what I come up with.

Today’s project is one we just did in my Big Shot Club this past week.

Instructions – Updated 1/22 (I’ve been told my measurements were confusing, so I changed them. I deal with measurements all day at work, so I put them as .125 instead of 1/8. Now it’s been converted. Sorry for the confusion.)
Cut a piece of Early Espresso for the outside to 4 x 11 and score at 2-1/4, 5-1/8, 7-3/8 and 10-1/2. Next, cut a piece of Baja Breeze for the lid to 3-3/4 x 4-3/8 and score at 11/16 on all four sides. Snip the corner flaps, fold up and glue to create the lid. Cut 4 Matchboxes (2 in each color), you will not need the sleeves, so don’t cut them. Once you have assembled the Matchboxes, you will adhere them using sticky strip, to the inside of the Early Espresso as shown in the second photo. Start with the bottom box, spacing them out every inch. One box per panel.

Hi, love your ideas; especially that box but don’t understand your measurements (ex 3.126 or such) can you just list as 4 1/2 or 3 3/16 please.
